Western Equatoria State Governor Vows to Strengthen Security as Election Clock Ticks


The Governor of Western Equatoria State, Barrister James Al-Taib Jazz Berapai, has vowed to strengthen security in the area as the country prepares for elections.


Addressing residents over the weekend, Al-Taib expressed his commitment to ensuring that security is strengthened in the area.


“The government remains committed to promoting peace, unity, and social cohesion as the state prepares for the general elections scheduled for December 2026,” he said.


He called on the residents to cooperate with the government as the country enters the election period.
