Education Ministry Dismisses MP Andrew Lual’s Allegations as False and Misleading

The Ministry of General Education and Instruction in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State has dismissed the statement made by MP and former minister of Finance, Andrew Lual as an allegation and false information.

Speaking to Aweil News Agency this evening in Aweil Town, The Director General in the Ministry of General Education and Instruction, Peter Deng Deng said I wish take this opportunity to firmly to categorically deny the false misleading allegations made by the area MP Hon. Andrew Lual Buola on Sunday at the funeral rite in Malou Awer .

"During his public remark. Hon. Andrew Lual alleged that the ministry has hired the following government schools to private institutions including Salam girls Primary school, Santo Ayang Primary school and Dr. John Primary school ." Deng said

Director General calls upon Andrew Lual Buola to respect the state Ministry of General education and Instruction and to seek accurate information through proper institutional channels before addressing the public on matters of public concern.

Director General reiterated that ministry is transparently and remains accountable to the people of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State and also any decision regarding public schools are made through lawful procedure and official communication channel but not through informal or political pronouncement .

He further said the ministry of General education and Instruction remain committed to strengthening public education in Aweil Town and across the state.

The Ministry urged the general public to disregard these false claims and to rely only on the official communication from the ministry .

Deng said that these allegations are entirely unfounded, inaccurate and misleading to the public in the first place we do not have Dr. John Primary school in Malou Awer, but we have Dr. John Primary school in Navivasha residential area has not been operational for years because it has not been constructed
